Email addresses can be added to client profiles in the below section:
Consistently adding email addresses to client profiles allows you to generate mailing lists from Dolphin.
There are two ways to obtain a mailing list from Dolphin:
1. By running a marketing query.
The marketing query allows you to target client profiles by average spend, destination or other criteria. You can then create an export template to generate a list of applicable email addresses. For more information about this option, check this article.
2. By running a report.
Various reports allow you to target clients based on different criteria (destination, departure date, etc). Similarly to option 1, an export template will allow you to generate a list of email addresses.
This article provides information on option 2.
Below are some ideas of the reports that you could use to extract mailing lists:
Type 1 – Statistics Reports
Destination Report
Folder Activity Report
Item Report
These reports include this below friendly name:
Customer First Email (To) Address.
Type 3 – Lists and Mailing Labels
Client List
Client List - with Folder Items
Client List - with Folders
These reports include this below friendly name:
Client Email (To) Address.
To obtain a mailing list, an export template must be created (check this article for more information) with a column based on one of these friendly names as per example below:
Once the export template is available, users will be able to run the chosen report and generate the output as an excel file with a list of email addresses:
The mailing list can be obtained by selecting and copying all the email addresses in column C in the above example.
