In general, the red/green dot quickly indicates whether the folder items have been fully invoiced and the invoices have been fully paid.
No dot A normal or cost quote folder that does not contain any folder items.
Red dot The folder is not a cost quote, and one or more of the following criteria applies:
- The folder contains at least one pricing that is not perfectly invoiced.
- The folder contains at least one pricing not fully cash sold (assigned).
- The deposit due date has passed, and an outstanding deposit due amount is in the folder.
- The balance due date has passed, and an outstanding balance due amount is in the folder.
- If any financial transaction in the folder has an unused amount – i.e. not fully linked or assigned.
Green dot
- For non cost quote folders
All the folder pricings are perfectly invoiced and fully linked, and none of the red dot criteria apply.
All the folder prices are fully cash sold, and none of the red dot criteria apply.
There is an outstanding balance on the folder, but the balance due date is in the future, and none of the red dot criteria apply.
There is an outstanding deposit on the folder but the balance due date is in the future and none of the red dot criteria apply.
- For cost quote folders - A folder which contains at least one pricing.
- For cost quote and normal folders - A folder that only contains vendor direct pricings, and you only include the commission value of these pricings in your turnover (i.e. you do not invoice them).
