Introduction
A GDS PNR can have 2 sets of staff codes and pseudo city codes (PCC's):
- Staff code of the agent who created the PNR - the booking staff code
- PCC in which the PNR was created - the booking PCC
- Staff code of the agent who issued the tickets in the PNR - the issuing staff code
- PCC in which the tickets were issued - the issuing PCC
This feature will allow for more flexible filtering of the booking import queue when filtering on PCC's.
Interface Configuration for Users
A new checkbox has been added to the Interface Configuration dialog (accessed via User Setup) labelled Apply PCC Filter To Original Booker:
This allows the user's booking import queue to be filtered on the booking PCC rather than the issuing PCC:
- If ticked the value in the PCC Filter field will be interpreted as the booking PCC
- If unticked the value in the PCC Filter field will be interpreted as the issuing PCC
This checkbox will work for the Galileo, Amadeus and Sabre booking imports.
NOTE: The Apply User Name Filter To Original Booker checkbox works in a similar manner. It allows the value in the User Name Filter field to be treated as the booking staff code rather than the issuing staff code.
Booking Import Queue Changes
The Booking Import Queue now shows two new columns on the far right - Issuing PCC and Booking PCC:
NOTE: The dialog also has columns on the left for the issuing staff code and booking staff code.
