Summary of Feature
Dolphin Dynamics has introduced a new functionality to the Task List which allows the users to create tasks based on a wider range of available fields and more flexible ways to search for data. This includes the option to search for text fields containing a certain value, or fields that do not contain a certain value.
Within an agency, this could be used to help consultants identify folders/bookings that dont contain transfers, or insurance for example, allowing an opportunity to upsell before the client departs.
When a criterion is met based on the rules defined, it appears in the Task List window for the sales agent to act upon. The task remains in the task list until the criteria in the rules are no longer met.
Two new Operators have been added in the Where and Having clauses in the Workflow Query Templates to allow users to validate based on a field containing or not containing part of a value. These new operators are only available for alphanumeric fields. These new operators are 'Contains' and 'Does Not Contain'.
Examples:
- In the below example, the task list query checks for bookings with folder destination Barbados, owned by staff code DJO and does not have an Other folder item with product code REST, specified as ~OTH~REST~ in the selection criteria.
- In this example, the task list query checks for bookings with departure date withing the next 180 days and have at least one hotel in in Los Angeles, based on the city code on the itinerary vendor profile.
This allows you to target folders to sell additional products, such as an insurance cover, a transfer, a restaurant reservation etc.
In addition to adding the new Contains and Does not contain operators, we have also added 4 new fields which can be used for filtering to both the “where clause” and “having clause” sections. These fields are particularly useful when used in conjunction with the new operators mentioned above.

This new functionality provides users with greater flexibility and control over their task lists, allowing them to more easily identify and act on important tasks.
