Top Tip - BSP Auto Reconciliation

Reconciling 'BSP Returns' can be time consuming, especially if doing this manually.

Dolphin may be able to assist with streamlining BSP reconciliations by using the Auto Reconciliation module.

The BSP Auto Reconciliation process will:

• Identify BSP documents (i.e. tickets/refunds/EMDs/ADMs etc) not loaded in Dolphin
• Compare ticket reconciliation amounts loaded in Dolphin, with the amount being charged by BSP and highlight all differences
• Automatically reconcile matching tickets when you are ready

Dolphin's BSP Auto Reconciliation process requires BSP billing data to be imported into Dolphin in a specific file format. For UK based customers, Dolphin's BSP UK PDF Converter Tool can be used or, more globally, BSP's DISH file can be used.

1.  BSP UK PDF Converter tool: BSP provide a PDF file downloadable for free via BSPLink's website for UK based customers.  The PDF contains tickets/refunds/ADMs data for a billing period.  The BSP UK PDF Converter tool converts this PDF file into a text file in a special format, that can be imported into Dolphin and used in the BSP Auto Reconciliation process.

The reason this tool can only be used by UK customers is because of the global differences in the PDF file's format.

2.  BSP DISH File:  BSP provide a file (called a "DISH" file) at a cost.  The DISH file can be imported into Dolphin and used in the BSP Auto Reconciliation process.
