Travel Ledger have created a new extended file format which allows ABTA Members to have control over their payments, facilitating deposit and balance payments from travel agents to tour operators, and refunds from tour operators to agents. Transactions are consolidated by the payment scheme, so that each week (or as often as required) only a single payment is made in or out of each ABTA member’s bank account.
Dolphin Dynamics BMM already offers an SPS report with an export template based on the old SPS scheme. And now a new export template is available to support the new Travel Ledger extended file format created.
Please note that Dolphin Dynamics is currently supporting the lite version of the Travel Ledger Extended File Format.
To find the SPS Report in the Booking Management Module go to Reports > Advanced Reports > select 3 – Customer Financial Reports from the Type dropdown > select the SPS Export Report in the Reports section:
To find the corresponding and new SPS export template, then select the Export button. Two templates will be displayed in the search dialog:
- SPS Export - this is the legacy template
- Travel Ledger SPS Extended File Format - the new template which support's Travel Ledger's extended file format

This template has been created to meet the requirements of Travel Ledger's extended file format specification, and it therefore cannot be edited.
Customers who wish to manipulate the default template can create a copy of it and then edit it. However, please be aware that any changes Dolphin make to the default template will not be applied to any copied versions.
